Architectural Firm Has been Secured
Another major milestone has been achieved through the generosity of our supporters. We are so excited to share that the Town of New Durham has engaged the services of Christopher P Williams Architechs, PPLC, for the project's next planned phase of work. None of this would have been possible without the support of our community.
Board members proudly presented the Select Board of the Town of New Durham with a check for $22,000.00 to support the professional services of this prestigious architectural firm. The town-appointed Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Committee is charged with overseeing the project's mission.
The end result of this phase of work will provide the drawings and plans to seek budgetary quotes for costs to complete the reassembly and construction of these buildings.

You Did It! Thank you for the incredible Response.
Thanks to your incredible response, we've achieved a remarkable feat! Not only did we meet the $7,500.00 donor matching challenge well before the June 1st deadline, but we also surpassed it. The total amount raised from fundraising and donations, including the donors’ challenge match, was an impressive $ 18,476.00. This significant achievement is a testament to the power of our community and its commitment to the Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Project. The Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Collaborative Board members are deeply grateful for your support.
Each and every one of you has created a unique and impactful opportunity and directly supported the Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Collaborative’s mission. Your contributions have played a significant role in funding the services of a professional architect, a crucial step in the project's progress.
Contributions came in many forms to support meeting this challenge. It all began with a special “Italian Benefit Dinner.” At the end of the dinner, over 45 percent of the funds needed to meet the challenge had been received! We extend our special thanks to Gino and Tatiana Michelizza for providing their family’s authentic Meat Lasagna and loaning needed kitchen supplies, and to Cheryl Cullimore for her vegetable lasagna, and her famous Apple Cake! We also appreciate the Collaborative members who donated table serving supplies and additional food. The Drummey family provided salad, the Thrush family contributed garlic bread, and Christine Evans baked her family’s new favorite almond cookies. We are also grateful to our volunteers who helped with set-up, serving, and clean-up. They were Caeli and Karen Drummey, Dorthy and Eric Thrush, Terry Jarvis, Steve Orlowicz, Phil Tucker, and members Christine Evans and Scott Drummey of the Zechariah Boodey Committee.
