Reflections of the past, sustainability for the future.

Another major milestone has been achieved through the generosity of our supporters. We are so excited to share that the Town of New Durham has engaged the services of Christopher P Williams Architechs, PPLC, for the project's next planned phase of work. None of this would have been possible without the support of our community.

Board members proudly presented the Select Board of the Town of New Durham with a check for $22,000.00 to support the professional services of this prestigious architectural firm. The town-appointed Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Committee is charged with overseeing the project's mission.

The end result of this phase of work will provide the drawings and plans to seek budgetary quotes for costs to complete the reassembly and construction of these buildings.

The Zechariah Boodey Farmstead Project is a historic preservation initiative that began with a colonial cape-style house built in 1769. The house is a national landmark and the birthplace of the Free Will Baptist Church. With 2,980 square feet of meeting space on a three-acre parcel of land, the facility will accommodate 130 individuals and host historical and cultural programs, educational, social, or private and civic events and activities.

Donating is simple. Donations will be accepted by visiting the ZBFCOL website at www.zbfcnh.org, contacting Catherine Orlowicz, President of ZBFCOL, by calling 603-859-4643 for more details or mailing a check to ZBFCOL PO Box 45, New Durham NH, 03855. Every contribution, no matter its size, makes a profound difference.
