House Disassembly - Interior
Boodey House Traverse Timber
Timber Frame Professional preparing interior traverse timber for removal. The Travers timber went the length of the house, gable end to gable end.

The east end of the house had a basement. The base for the center chimney stonework of the East Room is to the left background.

Several of the House's timbers had newsprint attached. This is from 1859 with a partial title of "Gazette and Strafford Advertiser."

Boodey House Interior Center Chimney
The center chimney with the fireplace and beehive ovens in the East Room. The fireplaces are Rumford-style fireplaces. The fireplaces were refaced three times. 6,000 bricks were cleaned and saved.
