Another view of the area converted to house livestock. Notice the floor in the upper bay. The live edge boards are lapped over one another, without any fasteners.

This area was open, loft joists are not present. Grits showed evidence of livestock gnawing.

The area converted to house livestock has been cleared of materials, revealing the studs and timbers along the exterior walls

The sheathing on the West wall was replaced sometime in late 1880s. The boards had a date written on them, and they did not match the sheathing on the three other sides.
